| Post-Birthday day
Yep, it's the day after my birthday. I'm now 23 years of age ... seems so old! I'm almost mid-twenties! Time sure flies by fast, and so much has changed in the last year. I was looking at pictures of my last year's birthday last night, and my life is pretty different. A number of people I hung out with a lot last year I don't even talk to anymore. People change, I guess, but it's surprising how fast good friends can turn into just another name on my msn list that I never talk to anymore. Relationships can change alarmingly fast, even if you're watching it very closely.
I'm also working now, which is a big change from last year(bumming around all day is the bestest!), and even that's about to change a little bit next week. I'm finally done my three month rotation doing shift work (yay!). Next week I'll be back on my usual 5 days a week 7:30 - 3:30. Working 12 hour shifts really kills a lot of my free social time, so it'll be nice to be back doing regular work hours. Can't wait to be able to hang out with friends every night again ^_^
But then I can't wipe away your tears ...
| You know, I sometimes find myself reminiscing of the fun times I used to have back in junior high: skating after school every day in the winter, playing soccer in the summer, just hanging out and playing games, and partying at friends houses on the weekends. Those were fun times and the friends were great.
Those friends are stll there, it's just that I'm here. Sometimes it's depressing to realize that I don't click as well with the friends I have here as compared to the ones I have there ... sometimes no clicky at all.
I tend to fall-in with crowds in which I feel I don't belong, simply because I'm easy to get along with ...

2:40am and I can barely keep my eyes open ZZZzzz ...
This is my first of two night shifts in a row and it feels really looong =( I miss working regular working hours five days a week, just 'cause I can go out with friends more often during the week. I know that once I do end up going back to regular hours in July I'm going to miss all of the time off that I had while working shift, hehe. I guess I just get bored of one job and want a change to something different ... something more challenging.
I want to take a road trip or a vacation to the carribean >.< ... I feel like going on an adventure.
also ...
She's back at last! ^_^
Can you feel it calling in you ...
| It's been four days since she left, and I've missed her since day one =( It's taking me a bit of time to remember what I used to do to keep myself occupied before she was at the top of my list. But, I have three 12 hour shift in four days (this morning being shift #2), so I haven't really had time to look around for things to do.
I find myself without plans for a Friday night for the first time in ... well ... quite some time. Who wants to play street hockey in the parking lot this Friday? C'mon, you know you wanna =D

| Arr! A pirate's life for me! Hehe. A pirate, Indiana Jones, and James Bond are top three ^_^
| You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.
Captain Jack Sparrow | | 71% | Indiana Jones | | 67% | James Bond, Agent 007 | | 58% | Lara Croft | | 54% | El Zorro | | 54% | Batman, the Dark Knight | | 50% | William Wallace | | 46% | The Amazing Spider-Man | | 42% | Maximus | | 38% | Neo, the "One" | | 38% | The Terminator | | 25% |
